Sarah Ann Langham, 73, passed away with loved ones by her side on Sunday, May 15, 2022, in Ennis, Texas.
Sarah was born in Caldwell, on March 10, 1949, to William “Billie” Fritz and Gladys (Godby) Hildebrand. Sarah grew up in Caldwell and graduated from Caldwell High School.
On March 9, 1968, she married the love of her life, Edward Wayne Langham, and they made their home in Lawton, Oklahoma, and Caldwell, before settling in Ennis in 1973.
Sarah worked for General Telephone as an operator for five years and then for Congress Drives for over forty years as the office manager. Sarah enjoyed sitting in her garage watching the activities in the neighborhood.
Sarah loved her family and spending time with them always brought her great joy.
Sarah is survived by her husband of over fifty-four years, Edward Wayne Langham; daughters, Nancy Pate and husband, James, and Jana Batson and her husband, Troy; grandchildren, Lana Dodson and Dylan; along with a host of extended family and friends.
Sarah is preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at 2 p.m. in the Victory Church of Scurry with Todd Peavy officiating. Interment will follow in the Liberty Cemetery of Caldwell, with David Gilmer officiating under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
