Betty Jo “Peewee” (Horcica) Hruska, 70, of Harlingen, Texas, formerly of Caldwell, Texas, was born to Joe Horcica and Dorothy (Engleman) Horcica on Dec. 6, 1951, in Caldwell, Texas.
She was married to Billy Joe Hruska for many years, and later divorced.
She had two sons with Billy Joe: Tim and Billy, Jr.
She grew up in Caldwell and lived there most of her life until she moved to Harlingen, Texas, to be closer to her two sons.
Peewee worked for many years at Alenco in Bryan, Texas. She also worked for Dairy Queen and for home health.
She loved being around her children and grandchildren, talking to her friends back in Caldwell, and her daily talks with her younger sister.
She died on June 19, 2022, from complications with illness.
Peewee is survived by two sons; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister; and several nieces and nephews.
