Ben Leroy Telg, 72, of Caldwell, was called home to his Lord, Thursday, August 18, 2022.
Visitation was held Monday, August 22, 2022, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home -- Caldwell.
Funeral services were performed on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at 10 a.m. also at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home -Caldwell.
Burial followed at the Hix Cemetery.
Ben Leroy Telg was born in Burleson County on November 25, 1949, to parents Ben Harmon Telg and Ruby (Brinkman) Telg.
Leroy served in the U.S. Army and was proud to serve.
He was a hard worker and was a heavy equipment operator for the City of College Station and later for the Burleson County Road Department.
Leroy enjoyed riding in his tractor and did custom hay baling.
Leroy was preceded in death by both of his parents; and a brother, Charles Telg.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Beverly Telg; a son, Daniel Telg and his wife, Jayme; two granddaughters, Mylah and Jaylee Telg; a sister, Betty Jean Prazak; three brothers, Douglas, Donnie and Theo Telg.
Pallbearers were Justin Long, Chris Harris, Paul Hobbs, James Prazak, Ruben Requena and Leroy Zavodny.
