Robert (Bob) Hardin of Deanville, Texas, loving father of two, died peacefully at home on September 27, 2022, at the age of 84.
Bob was born June 21, 1938, in Paris, Texas, to Raymond and Ruth Hardin.
He married Gail Gerdes on December 31, 1954, and they raised two children, Patricia and David.
Bob had worked hard his entire life. He worked for many years in the welding supply and industrial gas business. Bob also had certifications for all types of welding, except underwater.
He was an avid reader and lifelong learner; he had special interests in WWII history and homesteading in Alaska.
He enjoyed jokes and was a great listener.
Bob was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Gail; his parents; and two sisters.
He is survived by his daughter, Patricia Brinkmann (Hubert); son, David Hardin (Danni Kim); and grandson, Michael Brinkmann; sister, Wanda Messer; brothers, Leon Hardin and Bill Hardin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
As per Bob’s wishes, his family held a private burial on September 29, 2022, in Deanville, Texas.
