Evelyn “June” Dworsky Konarik, 95, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2022, in Round Rock, Texas.
June was born in Caldwell, Texas, on June 30, 1927, to John-ny Victor Dworsky and Mary Estella Maddox.
A public visitation will be held in her honor on Saturday, November 12, 2022, followed by funeral service at 12:00 noon in the chapel at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Caldwell, Texas.
June grew up in and around Caldwell, Texas, and attended Caldwell High School.
In 1945, she went to Houston, Texas, where she met her husband, Edwin “Eddie” Konarik. They were married in Rockport, Texas, and settled in Corpus Christi, Texas, where they raised their family.
June is survived by her brother, Jay C. Dworsky and wife, Marlyn, of Magnolia, Texas; sons, Larry Konarik and wife, Brenda, of Georgetown, Texas, and Ronald Konarik and wife, Nuey, of St. Peters, Missouri; and daughter, Dawn Konarik Kemp and husband, Steve, of Pasadena, Maryland; seven grandchildren; and fourteen greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny Victor Dworsky and Mary Estella Maddox Dworsky. Burial will be at the Masonic Cemetery in Caldwell, Texas.
