A memorial service for Maya Lazarus, 72, will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2022, at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell.
Maya loved to travel and to dance. She was passionate about animal rescue and started a nonprofit to
help the animals of Burleson County.
Maya was kind, brave, and brought a smile to everyone who knew her.
Maya was a wonderful mother and wife.
She was a caring teacher, a talented author, and a beautiful spirit. She will be missed deeply, always.
She died on November 24, 2022, surrounded by family.
