Mass of Christian Burial for Charles Schoppe, 82, was held at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, Dec. 9, 2022, at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church, 916 Park St., La Porte.
Charles was a man who cherished time spent with his family.
He loved coaching his children in all the different sports.
Charles was also very supportive of his grandchildren and loved attending their sporting events.
In his younger years Charles worked for the IBM corporation.
When he left IBM, Charles began his own business, Schoppe Pest Control, in La Porte, Texas.
He died on Monday Dec. 5, 2022.
He is survived by two sons; two daughters-inlaw; one daughter; one son-in-law; one brother; one sister-in-law; six grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren; and many other family and friends.
