A celebration of life for Michael Lawrence Carter, 23, of Caldwell, Texas, will he held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2023,
in the chapel at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Caldwell.
Michael was born on March 16, 1999, to Heather Grice in Port Arthur, Texas. He is one of four children.
He graduated from Caldwell High School in Caldwell, Texas, in 2017.
Michael was a wonderful father and loved his daughter, Falan Carter, dearly.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and singing karaoke.
He loved playing his guitar, and he was blessed with a beautiful voice.
Michael will always be remembered for his contagious smile and a way of caring for those around him. He was loved by so many and will always be remembered as a charismatic, fun-loving guy who could make anyone laugh and make every situation fun.
He was fun-loving, witty, and a friend to all.
He died on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2022.
He is survived by his birth mother; his adoptive mother; three sisters; and one daughter.
