Funeral services for Lawrence (Larry) Rose, 69, of Gause, Texas, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 10, 2023, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home.
Larry Rose was born on Feb. 1, 1955, in Rockdale, Texas. Larry was one of ten siblings.
He was raised in Gause, Texas, and attended Milano Public Schools.
Larry graduated from the police academy and worked for Texas Department of Criminal Justice for many years.
He met and married his true love, Laura Jean Ewald.
Larry was a lifelong rancher.
Laura and Larry attended Harmony Baptist Church in Caldwell.
Larry was a devoted husband, grandfather and greatgrandfather.
He died on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2023.
Larry is survived by his wife, Laura Jean Rose of Gause, Texas; two brothers; five sisters; three stepchildren; two honorary children; seven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and four honorary grandchildren.
