Steve A. Payne of Caldwell passed away on November 29, 2022, at the age of 76.
A celebration of life service will be held on March 4, 2023, at Burleson County Cowboy Church at 3 p.m.
Steve was born October 25, 1946. He was the youngest of 11 siblings.
He served our country as a Marine in Vietnam.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Payne; his sister, Pamela Montgomery; his brother-in-law, Troy Walling; his children, Stephen and Sheila Payne, Gregory and Mandy Payne, Nancy and Jason Bleau, Daviette Slaughter and Christopher Williams, and Douglas Payne; his grandchildren, Jacob, Zachary, Allison, Brittany and Ricky Hrebec, Shelby Payne and Blake Richard, Allyssa Payne, Hunter McKnight, Breeanna Bankston, Wade Krell, Logan Krell. He also had stepchildren, and several grandchildren.
