A celebration of life for Jannie Ybarra Outland, 67, of Deanville, was held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at First Assembly of God Church in Caldwell.
Jannie was born July 24, 1955, to Augustine and Rafaela (Melchor) Ybarra. She was the oldest daughter of fifteen children.
Jannie graduated from Navasota High School in 1972.
She met Shanan in Caldwell, and they were married on July 28, 1990. To this union five children were raised: Ricky, Michael, Kay, Shannon and Steven.
Jannie was never one for material things.
Her first goal was to have a personal relationship with God. Second, was to be the best wife she could for her husband Shanan. Her final goal was to be the best mother and grandmother anyone could ask for.
Jannie was a faithful member of First Assembly of God Church since 1990.
She loved to help, and served in multiple positions at the church.
She died on Wednesday, March 8, 2023.
Jannie is survived by her husband of 32 years, Shanan Outland; four children; four grandchildren; and 13 siblings and their spouses.
