GIRLS POLE VAULTING was one of the events at the District 26-2A Track Meet in Snook last week.
SOMERVILLE’S BOYS’ 4X400-meter relay team of Gavin Williams, Kyler Towslee, Victor Orozco and Ian Teague qualified for the area track meet.
The Snook and Somerville track teams competed in the District 26-2A Track & Field Meet last week in Snook with several athletes advancing to the Area Meet -- which will be this Thursday in Snook.
Athletes finishing in the top four places qualify for area.

Somerville finished second in the team standings with a total of 123 points.
