Annie (Faust) Polasek was born to Joe and Annie (Haisler) Faust on November 14, 1928, in Burleson County.
She married Bennie Lee Polasek, Sr. on De- cember 31, 1946, at the Czech-MoravianBrethren Church, Caldwell, Texas.
Annie and Bennie owned and operated Polasek’s Sheet Metal/Air Condi- tioning Company on the square.
Annie was a member of Caldwell Brethren Church and served in various posi- tions locally and statewide.
Her accomplishments and memberships included: raising seven children, member of the Caldwell SPJST Lodge #186, the American Legion Auxiliary, Kolache Festival Steering Committee, Caldwell Recreational Association, 1997 “Kolache Festival Queen,” 2002 Outstanding Senior Citizen.
She is a charter member of the Burleson County Czech Heritage Museum.
She and her husband and family donated the Museum House and lot on June 16, 1996.
She was also an enthusiastic domino player and had many hobbies.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Annie Faust; grandson, Michael E. Huffman; her husband, Bennie Lee Polasek, Sr.; twin great-granddaughters, Sophia and Daphne Matcek; Guy Huffman, son-in-law; Shirley Faust, sister-in-law;, Brittany Polasek, granddaughter-inlaw; and Robert Faust, nephew.
Survivors include five sons and spouses: Bennie and Rev. Kay Polasek, of College Station, Rev. Joseph and Mary Polasek, of Caldwell, James and Geraldine Polasek, of Bryan, Samuel and Frieda Polasek, of Caldwell, David and Nancy Polasek, of Humble; two daughters, Annie and Roger Runnels, of Houston, and Martha Huffman, of College Station; two brothers, Henry J. Faust, of Houston, and Joe Robert Faust and Marionette, of El Dorado, Arkansas; sixteen grandchildren; and thirty great-grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces.
Pallbearers: Seth Mike, Douglas Polasek, Steven Polasek, Joshua Runnels, Matthew Huffman, Robert Polasek, and David Polasek II.

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Caldwell Brethren Church in Caldwell, Texas.
Interment will follow the service at New Tabor Cemetery.
