Mike James McHenry, 69, of Caldwell, Texas, passed away on Thursday April 27, 2023.
Services will be scheduled at a later date.
Mike was born on September 9, 1953, to Douglas and Iris McHenry (Crim). He had only one sibling, his sister, Melanie, who he loved dearly.
Mike graduated from high school and went on to work for Keller Ladder Factory. Later he worked for Brookshire Brothers bagging groceries and in sales.
In his younger years, he enjoyed fishing and just about anything outdoors.
Mike loved the Lord and his family.
He especially enjoyed spending time outdoors with his nieces.
Mike will always be remembered for his contagious smile and way of caring for others. He had many friends and was the go-to guy if anyone needed a ride to the store or an errand to be completed. He was a longtime member of Caldwell Methodist Church.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Douglas and Iris McHenry.
He is survived by is longtime loving partner, Pam Hobbs; sister, Melanie Praesel; nephew, Cody Praesel and his wife, Kaeley; and beloved nieces, Jaelynn, Karlee and Eva of Caldwell, Texas.
Mike’s heart of gold and way of caring for others around him will be missed and forever cherished by all who knew him.
