Graveside services for Robert Kyle Vick, 69, of Caldwell, Texas, will be held at 9:00 a.m. on July 15, 2023, at the Providence Cemetery in Caldwell, Texas.
Robert “Bob” Vick was born on Feb. 15, 1954, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to James Edwin and Lanita Vick.
He spent some time working on a ranch near Duncan, Oklahoma, where he met Cindy Thompson. They were married on Aug. 15, 1979, in Lawton, Oklahoma.
They made their home in Caldwell, Texas.
He worked for Halliburton until his retirement.
He improved their home area and land by continually thinking of creative ideas and improvements. Spelling was not his strong suit, which is why he called his wife, Cindy, his “Spell Chick.”
Bob was a loyal son, sibling, husband, father, and grandfather.
He had many interests and an endearing sense of humor.
He will be greatly missed.
He died on Wednesday, July 5, 2023.
He is survived by three daughters; one aunt; one uncle; nieces; nephews; cousins; his in-laws; and three grandchildren.
