SOMERVILLE QUARTERBACK Ian Teague is listed as a “player to watch” in this year’s “Texas Football Magazine.” The Yeguas are picked to make the playoffs for the third straight year.
CALDWELL’S DORIS Hieden went undefeated to win the Class A 30-feet tournament title with a high game of 85% on July 8 at the Ed Mcfarland Classic, hosted by the South Central Horseshoe Club in Bryan. Danny Patterson finished second with high game of 80%.
