Dana Renee Landrum Peterman, 56, of Montgomery, Texas, went to be with our Lord on Thursday, July 6, 2023.
Dana was born on December 11, 1966, to Larry and Sandra (Lednicky) Landrum in Key West, Florida.
Dana worked as a paraprofessional with special needs students. She loved working with children. Later she worked as a bus driver for several school districts.
She earned her CDL driver license which allowed her to team drive an eighteen-wheeler with her husband, Ernest Peterman. She did that until her health would not allow her to continue driving.
Dana was a loving daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother. She had a giving heart and would help anyone in need.
Dana was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Clem A. Lednicky, Sr. of Lyons, Texas; her grandmother, Mary I. Kretzer, of Deanville, Texas; her paternal grandparents, John and Hazel Landrum of Houston, Texas; Uncle Clem A. (Bubba) Lednicky, Jr. of Caldwell, and his daughter, Corinna Ann Lednicky, Uncle Jimmy Davenport, Uncle Terry and Aunt Margie Landrum of Houston, Uncle Mike Landrum of Alto, Texas, and Aunt Linda Landrum Sullivan.
She is survived by her parents, Larry and Sandra Landrum of Caldwell, Texas; husband, Ernest Peterman of Montgomery, Texas; son, Kody B. Fisher of Caldwell, Texas; daughter, Kourtney Fisher Buck of Big Spring, Texas; stepchildren, Crystal Peterman of College Station, Texas, Christina Rasch of Bryan, Texas; granddaughters, Hayleigh and Brianna Buck of Big Spring, Texas, Kopelyn Fisher of Caldwell, Texas, and stepgrandson, Flair Rasch of Bryan, Texas; aunts, Joan Davenport, Julia Hruska, Sheryl Lednicky; and many cousins and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Somerville, 255 9th Street in Somerville, Texas, at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2023. A reception for all family and friends will be held in the Family Life Center following the service.
