A Mass of Christian Burial for Romulo Alvarez Garcia, 77 of San Diego de la Union, Guanajuato, was held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2023, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Caldwell, Texas.
Romulo Alvarez Garcia, was born on Feb. 7, 1946, to Refujio Alvarez and Paula Garcia in San Diego de La Union, Guanajuato.
He met his future spouse, Caritina Alvarez in Pozo Ademado, Guanajuato, and they were married on Sept. 5, 1975.
He believed God and family were the key to happiness. Romulo was an active member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
He enjoyed dancing, watching soccer, fishing, solving word searches and growing crops.
He was a very hardworking dad, who always prioritized his family above everything else, including himself.
He showed his love, not only by verbally stating it, but by expressing it through all the acts of service.
He died on Friday, Sept. 1, 2023.
