Susan Marie Ondrasek

Susan Marie Ondrasek, 61, of Caldwell, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2023.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the chapel at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home, Caldwell.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home Chapel with Kevin McMachen officiating.

Susan was born on December 21, 1961, to James E. Williams and Lillian M. (Odstrcil) Williams in Bryan, Texas.

She was one of four siblings and graduated from Caldwell High School in 1980.

After graduation she received her cosmetology license from Charles & Sue’s School of Hair Design in Bryan. She spent several years providing this service to many in the community.

Susan was previously married to David Ondrasek, and they had one son, Kyle Andrew Ondrasek.

She spent many of her working years as a Pharmacy Tech, substitute teaching, MHMR in Central Texas counties, at Texas A&M in the Senior Renewal office which closed during COVID-19 and was currently employed by Edward Jones as a Branch Office Administrator.

Susan was baptized and confirmed at Cooks Point Brethren Church and currently attended Caldwell Methodist Church where she enjoyed worship and was very involved in the Wednesday Night Women’s Connection Bible Study.

She was an active member of the Snook EEA, recently being named Chapter President.

Susan was also happiest when spending time with her granddaughters, Fallyn and Kylie.

She had a passion for growing things, especially green potted plants and cactus.

She has always loved dogs, and her current babies, Sierra and Sophie, will miss her very much.

Susan had many longtime friendships and was a joy to be around. She loved special events and celebrations, music, dancing and adventures with friends.

She had strong opinions and you always knew where she stood.

Susan touched so many lives and her wonderful smile will be missed by all who knew her.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents, James E. Williams and Lillian M. (Odstrcil) Williams.

She is survived by her son, Kyle Andrew Ondrasek and his wife, Kendra; granddaughters, Fallyn Michelle Anderson and Kylie Ann Ondrasek, all of Caldwell; her brothers, Joseph C. Carlson of Jefferson, Texas, Adrian (Buddy) Carlson and wife, Jo Beth, of Caldwell, and Stephen E. Williams of Caldwell. She is also survived by her special friend, Larry Eichenger, who took such wonderful care of her.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Caldwell Methodist Church or Hospice Brazos Valley.
