Funeral services for Sharon Lynne Harper, 70, of Caldwell, formerly of McCamey, will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Strickland Funeral Home.
Sharon was born on March 8, 1954, in Crane, Texas, to Fred and Juanita Siegenthaler.
She is remembered as an amazingly kind woman who had a heart of gold the size of Texas.
She loved fishing, crafting, researching genealogy, watching her programs, playing games, and most of all she loved her family and friends and cherished every second she spent with them.
Her biggest accomplishments were her children and grandchildren. She has always been very proud of them.
She was very loyal and was always involved in helping better her community and country.
Sharon worked for Upton County, Texas, for 30 years and while employed with the county she was a jailer, dispatcher and tax clerk. She retired from the county in January of 2021 after service 10 years as the elected County Treasurer.
She died Oct. 25, 2024. Sharon is survived by three children, three grandchildren, two siblings and many nieces and nephews.
