Funeral service for Mack Dobie Revis Jr., 69, of Beaumont, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024, at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Lyons.
Mack Dobie Revis Jr. was born March 23, 1955, in Chester, Pennsylvania, to Mack and Mable Revis Sr.
He accepted Christ at an early age.
Mack enlisted and served in the United States Marines Corp. He attended Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Lyons.
He married Patricia Porter on Sept. 18, 1993.
He worked as a Merchant Seaman for many years and was a member of the Seafarers International Union (SIU) and for ARA Electricians until retirement. He received numerous SIU Union Endorsements.
Mack loved dancing and listening to music and continued his love as a race car driver.
He died on Nov. 17, 2024. Survivors are his wife of 31 years, Patricia Porter-Revis; two daughters; one stepdaughter; one brother; one sister; two grandsons; and two great-grandchildren.
