A funeral service for Robert A. Mott, 94, will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec.
28, 2024, at the Cowboy Church in Caldwell.
He was born on May 11, 1930, to L.A. (Bob) Mott and Zella Jones Mott, Throughout his remarkably healthy life, Robert exemplified dedication and service to his country and community.
Robert was employed by Borden Milk Company, Borger, before being called into the Korean conflict in 1950.
He returned in 1952 and worked for Northern Natural Gas company for 19 years.
He relocated to Elk City to help his mom with her upholstery fabric business in 1971.
He operated several mechanic garages and fullservice stations in both Oklahoma and Texas.
He served in law enforcement in Elk City, Dumas, and then the Texas border. He also flew for the U.S. Marshalls service out of Oklahoma City.
He worked for NAPA before driving vans for Pathway Services, in Blanchard, Oklahoma.
His passion was law enforcement and driving everywhere.
He loved the outdoors.
He faithfully took his family to church.
He died on Nov. 25, 2024. He is survived by two children; six grandchildren and six great-grand-children.
