Bonnie June Nelson Branch, 97, of Somerville, passed away peacefully, at home on Sunday, December 22, 2024.
June was born on April 28, 1927, in Uvalde.
June met and married the love of her life, Kenneth Branch Sr. They were blessed with seven children.
June was a devoted wife and mother.
June had a special love for dolls and over the years collected hundreds of them. She especially enjoyed making many elaborate wardrobe pieces for them.
June also loved writing and wrote 40 books.
When she was not writing, she created needlepoint projects that were absolutely beautiful.
June was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Branch Sr.; and her children, Bonnie, Sybil, Gene and Kenneth.
She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Rogers, Janie Green, Cherie Nance, and her son, James Branch. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren and cousins from Taylor; she loved you all like her own.
