Margaret “Margie” Lucille Breitkreutz was born on Aug. 23, 1938, in Burleson County, to Bessie Gertrude Breitkreutz.
Margie graduated from Caldwell High School in Caldwell in 1956.
She married Dennis Vavra on Aug. 18, 1957, in Caldwell.
Margie was raised on a farm in the New Tabor community.
Her fondest memories were spending time traveling with her husband Dennis.
She worked at Keller Chair Plant, Schneidig Corporation, and J&H Grocery Store & Meat Market.
Margie and her family were members of Elizabeth Lutheran Church in Caldwell.
A Celebration of Life service for Margaret “Margie” Lucille Vavra, 86, of College Station was held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at Phillips & Luckey Margie loved to journal and would read her Bible and write daily scriptures which kept her faith strong.
She truly enjoyed her last two years at the Langford Assisted Living facility in College Station, which was a memorable and special time in her life.
She died on March 13, 2025.
She is survived by one son; one daughter-in-law; one daughter; one sonin- law; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous stepgreatgrandchildren.
