BEVERLY FOISIE-ISELT

Funeral services for Beverly Foisie-Iselt, 79 of Lexington, were held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Deanville, with Rev. Bernard J. Schey officiating.

Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 14, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings. The family was present for visitation from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Beverly Jane (Reichle) Foisie-Iselt was born on January 10, 1946, in Highlands, Texas, to Henry Robert and Bernadette Helen (Spacek) Reichle.

She was baptized at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Deanville and graduated from Channelview High School in 1964.

Beverly served in the United States Navy during Vietnam. She received her Honorable Discharge on November 3, 1967.

Beverly was an active member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Old Dime Box where she had served as church secretary for several years and was a member of the Ladies Aid.

She was also a member of the Lexington Garden Club. She enjoyed gardening, taking care of her flowers, working in her yard, sewing, crafting, baking and traveling.

Beverly passed away the afternoon of Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at her home in Lexington.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her first husband, Marcial Foisie Sr.

Beverly is survived by her husband, Gary Iselt of Lexington; three children, Bonnie Hymel (Paul) of Louisiana, Marcial Foisie Jr. (Theresa) of Texas, and Craig Iselt of Texas; eight grandchildren, Paul Hymel Jr (Kayla) of Florida, Chrisha Pool-Butler (Scott) of Louisiana, Ashley Elliot (Ben) of Alabama, Julia Payton (Andrew) of Louisiana, Amanda Ross (Corey) of Louisiana, Blake Hymel (Marcela), Brett Foisie (Kami) of Texas, Colton Foisie (Kristina) of Texas, and Kelsey wagoner (Kole) of Texas; 13 greatgrandchildren; one brother, Robert Reichle (Kaye) of Texas; one sister, Debbie Watkins (Tom) of Texas; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Falke and Sylvia Tullos; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The pallbearers were Brett Foisie, Colton Foisie, Chris Smith, Andrew Peyton, Frank Thompson, Craig Iselt, Kole Wagoner and Russell Spacek.

Honorary pallbearers were Beverly’s great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Tunnels to Towers, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, TrinityLutheranChurchin Old Dime Box, Texas or to the charity of one’s choice.
