Louis J. Muzny Sr., 93, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at his home in Deanville, with his family at his bedside.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. with Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Caldwell.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dime Box, with Father Andrew Dinh officiating.
Burial followed at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Dime Box.
Louis was born on October 4, 1931, at his family home in Deanville, to Raymond and Cecelia Supak Muzny, one of nine siblings.
He attended school in Deanville and worked at International Furniture Factory in Bryan for 27 years.
After retiring he loved ranching and working with cattle.
He spent many years taking loving care of his mother during her later years.
Louis was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dime Box and member of the KJT. He enjoyed going to church bazaars, listening to Czech music and attending church faithfully.
Louis had four children, Louis Muzny Jr., Cynthia Muzny, Donald Muzny and his wife, Carilyn, and Charles Muzny, all of Caldwell. He had three grandchildren, Brandon and his wife, Ashley, of Katy, Chaille and her husband, Michael Chambless, of Temple, and Micah and his wife, Sarah Muzny, of Little River Academy; great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Maryann and Lucas Muzny, Emma, Ella and Lilly Chambless, and Sadie and Samuel Muzny.

Special thanks to his sister Agnes for her constant visitations, cooking, loving and caring for Dad and his family, and to the Accent Hospice nurses for their support during dad’s last week of life.
