    A fire burned about 5 acres of pasture land off F.M. 1361 on Sunday afternoon, Nov. 9, but Somerville and Snook firefighters responded quickly and contained it.Firefighters, dealing with a strong north wind under Red Flag warning conditions, were also assisted by members of the Texas Forest Service, and they were grateful that the blaze did not burn more acreage.The cause of the f...
