Trina Marie Young was born on Jan. 22, 1958, in Jacinto City, to Carol Marie Feick Young and John Oliver Young.
Trina dedicated her life to helping others. She worked as a dispatcher for various law enforcement agencies.
Outside of her work, Trina was deeply devoted to her family. She didn’t have children of her own, but she poured endless love into her nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was always there -- supportive, caring and full of love.
She passed away on April 8, 2026, at her home in Somerville.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Carol Feick Young; father, John Oliver Young; brother, Mark Young; uncles, Harvey Feick and Larry Fyke; and aunts, Arlene Feick and Marian Feick.
She is survived by her best friend, Michelle Wilson; nephew, Aaron Lee Winder; niece, Alexandra Nicole Winder; grandniece, Ayliah Michelle Morris; uncle, Ken Feick and wife, Carol Rozell; cousin, Cathy Feick Hutcheson and children, Kimberly Hutcheson, Christina Hutcheson, Laura Hutcheson (husband, Robert, son, James, stepson, Sidney), and Matthew Hutcheson (wife, Mikie, and children Oaklynn and Grayson); cousin, Karen Lopez and her son, Joseph Lopez (wife, Kailey, and daughter, Violet), and Britany Davis (children, Anna, Caden, Caine, and Arianna); and cousin, Donna McGilberry and her children, Ashley Mc-Gilberry Kight (husband, Blake, and daughters, Amelia and Blair), and Christopher McGilberry; longtime friend, Michael Keith Winder; and her three beloved fur babies, who were a big part of her life and brought her so much joy.
A memorial service will be held for family and friends at a later date.
