Teresa “Reesie” Franks, 67, passed away on May 4, 2026.
She was born on June 7, 1958, in Bryan, to her parents, Emma Jean Franks Pennington and Homer Eugene Franks.
Teresa built a life centered around the things she loved most -- her family, laughter and life’s simple joys.

She had a deep love for music and dancing, especially to “Mustang Sally,” which never failed to bring out her joyful energy.
Her grandchildren were her world, and she loved them with all her heart.
Teresa is survived by her daughter, Ashley Franks; son, Cody Yenger; her sister, Nancy Sebesta; her brothers, James “Frog” Franks and Bobby Franks; and her beloved grandchildren, Layne and Landon Yenger and Aimrey Metzroth.
