Anni Chambers, 99, died on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2021, in Caldwell.
Anni was born on Sept. 29, 1921, in Idar-Oberstein, Germany.
She married her husband, Floyd, on June 20, 1955.
Anni, Floyd, and their daughter, Gisela, remained in Idar-Oberstein until November 1955 when Floyd completed his tour in the U. S. Army.
They returned to the United States, a country she learned to love more than her own.
Anni and Floyd lived in Texas City until 1985 when they retired and moved to Caldwell.
Anni loved her family, her friends, her politics and her countries.
Anni is survived by her daughter, Gisela Chambers Henricks and husband, Bob; and extended family and special friends.
Her cremains will be laid to rest alongside her husband in Giesenschlag Cemetery.
Honoring her request, there will be no public service held.
