Funeral services for Robert Everette Bringol Sr., of Caldwell will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 26, 2021, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow at Caldwell Masonic Cemetery.
Mr. Bringol died on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2021.
Robert was born on Jan. 5, 1945, in New Orleans, La., to Everette Prescott and Hazel Bringol.
He completed his basic training for the U.S. Army during Vietnam but was transferred out to work for Brown & Root before having to go to war.
Robert will be remembered as a well-respected businessman who was loved and respected by all who knew him, family members said.
As the son of a Baptist preacher, he was sure to sit in the back and enjoy listening to his father preach every Sunday.
Family was most important to him. He loved spending time with them and keeping his yard and cars looking perfectly maintained.
He loved his tractors, cars and all kinds of machines.
Robert never met a stranger and would make friends everywhere he went. He was a kind, generous man who would give you the shirt off his back or find you one just like it, family said.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Annette Hoggat; and his brother-in-law, Johnny Robinson.
Robert is survived by his wife, Susan Bringol of Caldwell; his sons, Robert Bringol Jr., and wife, Amy, and Shane Holeman and wife, Beth; and his grandchildren, Brittainy Bringol, Bethany Steinhauser and husband, Keelan, Anthony Bringol, Laine Holeman, Luke Chiles and Ethan Chiles.
