Mass of Christian Burial for Sister Margaret John Della Morte, 83, of Somerville, was held at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Somerville, with Rev. Jim Olnhausen serving as the main Celebrant of the Mass, and friends of the priest from Austin Diocese serving as Concelebrants.
Burial followed at Guadalupe Cemetery in Somerville.
Visitation was held from 3-5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Somerville with Rosary recited at 6 p.m.
Sister John died on Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2021.
Sister John was born on Oct. 15, 1937.
Sister’s ashes will be in the convent chapel for those who wish to pay their respects.
