A Celebration of Life for William Henry “Bill” Naquin, 80, of Bellville will be held from 1-5 p.m. on Saturday, July 17, 2021, at the Community Building located at 202 Birch Creek Forest Drive in Somerville.
Following the service, there will be a gathering with family and friends for food and fellowship.
Mr. Naquin died on Jan. 23, 2021, in Bryan, while holding his loving wife’s hand.
He was born on July 3, 1940, in Houston to John and Dorothy Naquin.
Bill was an air conditioning technician by trade for 40-plus years.
In his younger years, he would build and race cars on dirt tracks.
Bill was united in marriage to Della Goller Wendt on July 29, 1995, in Brenham.
They made their home at the Coshatte Recreation Ranch, where he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Bill loved watching his grandchildren play sports, going boating, fishing, dancing, and playing games. He also loved to build things out of wood.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Dorothy Naquin; daughter, Kathryn Vega; grandson, Justin Ty Hernandez; sister, Mary Head; and brothers, Johnny Patrick Naquin, and Samuel McKee Naquin.
Bill is survived by his wife of over 25 years, Della Naquin of Bellville; children, Ricky D. Naquin, William H. Naquin, Nancy Naquin, William A. Naquin, Venus Ihlenfeldt and her husband, Paul, Joyce Pevehouse and her husband, David, Cody Naquin and his wife, Delaney, Cassandra Adams and her husband, Jason, Michelle Mitchell and her husband, David, and Tracy Corum and her husband, Cody; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and dear friends.
