Visitation for Gloria Anzualda, 70, of Snook will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday June 30, 2021, and from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 1, 2021, at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 2, 2021, at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell.
Burial will follow at the Masonic Cemetery in Caldwell.
Mrs. Anzualda passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 27, 2021, at home with her children by her side.
Gloria was born on March 12, 1951, in Fashing, Texas, to Eluterio and Maria Banda.
On Dec. 3, 1969, Gloria was united in marriage to Jose Anzualda Jr. They spent 51 years together prior to his passing on July 27, 2020.
She was a homemaker. She was caring, affectionate and loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. Gloria always lent a helping hand to anyone who needed it.
Gloria was preceded in death by her husband Jose; and daughter-in-law Juanita Anzualda.
Gloria is survived by sons, Fernando (Felicita) Anzualda of Bryan, James Anzualda of Bryan, Joe (Nicole) Anzualda III, of Snook; Israel (Yvette) Anzualda of Bryan; daughters Irma (Roy) Orta of Houston, Raquel (David) Ortegon of Corpus Christi, Esmeralda (Efrain) Alvarez of Brenham, Jessica (Jorge) Lara of Bryan and Wynonna Anzualda of Snook; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Fernando, James, Joe, and Israel Anzualda, Roy Orta and David Ortegon.
