In loving memory of my wonderful husband Frederik (Rik) Hansen
October 6, 1948 - July 31, 2021
Rik was born October 6, 1948, to Frederik Hansen Sr. and Patricia Slaton in Copperas Cove, Texas.
They moved to different areas - his father was a doctor and his mother a registered nurse.
Rik on the other hand had to be moving, climbing up on buildings, hiding (especially) from his “Granny” and she would say, “Freddie, I’m getting the switch.”
Rik worked overseas for many years, as a seismic engineer.
He played in Pool tournaments and golf tournaments. Golf was his favorite sport.
Rik is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, (on Aug. 30), Barbara Hansen of Caldwell; three sons; one daughter; two sisters of which one is deceased; and grandchildren.
My love you are my rock; you were here for me always (Visa Vesa). You left me so sudden, but my broken heart is with you forever and mine with you, no more pain and suffering. I will love you forever/ always sleep in peace my love.
