Funeral services for Joseph Paul Notaro, 85, of College Station were held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2021, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
Joseph Notaro was born on Jan. 6, 1936, in Utica, N.Y., to Peter and Rachel Notaro (Falvo).
He married Mary Elizabeth Ferrell on Feb. 1, 1958. Together they celebrated 56 years of marriage before her passing.
Joseph enlisted in the United States Air Force just out of high school, and it was there that he met and found the love of his life.
He was stationed at Bergstrom Air Force Base in Austin when he met Mary Elizabeth Ferrell who was attending business college.
Mr. Notaro died on Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2021.
He is survived by his two sons; two sisters; one brother; three in-laws; and two nieces.
