A private funeral service for Billie Sue Wilson, 90, of Somerville, will be held at a later date.
Billie Sue Bailey Wilson was born on Aug. 5, 1931, to Dedie Bruce Bailey and Mohota Bailey in Tyler, Texas. Her family moved to Baytown when she was 6 years old.
She graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1949.
She loved to sew and do crafts until her eyesight left her.
She was a prayer warrior and loved her Jesus. Her family is so grateful for the legacy of her devotion to Jesus Christ and are looking forward to seeing her again. She was much loved and will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
She died peacefully on Friday, Dec. 31, 2021.
Billie Sue is survived by one son; one daughter; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one sister; one nephew; as well as Angela Walker.
