Cause of crash remains unknown, DPS says
A Port Arthur man was killed early Monday, Jan. 13, after crashing his pickup into a tree and overturning in a nearby pasture off County Road 123.
Jeffery Discher, 37, was pronounced dead at the scene by Burleson County Pct. 3 Justice of the Peace Johnny Towslee.
DPS troopers are unsure of the exact time of the accident, said DPS Sgt. Justin Ruiz of Bryan.
