CALDWELL’S AL’YSSA BUTLER won the girls 400-meter dash at the area track meet at La Grange and has qualified for the regional meet.

CALDWELL’S REECE MCMANUS qualified for the regional meet in the girls high jump.
CALDWELL’S IRELAND MORGAN qualified for the regional meet in the girls long jump.
CALDWELL’S SPENCER ELLIS qualified for the regional meet in the boys 800-meter run and the 1,600-meter run.
CALDWELL’S GIRLS 4X400-METER RELAY TEAM qualified for the regional meet. The relay team includes Natalie Eastepp, Ireland Morgan, Jasmine Rodriguez and Al’yssa Butler.
Caldwell varsity track sent several athletes to the Area meet in La Grange last week, led by Al’yssa Butler who won the girls 400-meter dash.
Butler’s gold was earned by finishing with a time of 58.72 seconds-- qualifying her for the regional meet this weekend in Bullard.
She also placed fifth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 26.47 secondsjust outside the qualifying place for regional.
