Somerville’s Jeremy Vela not only won the UIL Class 2A Region 4 boys high jump title which qualified him for the UIL State Track & Field Meet, he broke the school and Class 2A Region 4 track meet records.
The regional track meet was held at Texas A&MKingsville last weekend.
