Snook High School senior Brett Withem placed fifth last week at the regional tournament and advanced to the state meet on May 5-6 at Lions Club in Austin.
The regional tournament was held on April 14-15 in Corpus Christi, and Snook placed 15th.
Withem shot an 82 and a 74 to qualify for the state tournament.
