The Lady Hornets JV volleyball team went 1-1 last week, defeating Madisonville last Tuesday on the road and falling to Thrall Friday at home.
Against Madisonville, Caldwell started out by losing Set 1 16-25, but bounced back in Sets 2 and 3, defeating the Lady Mustangs 25-20, 15-11.
Coach Wendy Weis said, “This was a great comeback for the Lady Hornets who were determined to win.”
