Caldwell finishes electric power conversion work

    The City of Caldwell’s conversion to the ERCOT electric power grid and completion of the new LCRA electric substation is now complete.

    Caldwell City Administrator Camden White said on Monday that the full ERCOT conversion was completed by Thursday of last week, March 12, the city’s biggest electric upgrade in modern history.
