Erline was baptized and confirmed at United Church of Christ in Needville by Rev. William Scholze.

Her family moved to Rosenberg in 1948, and she attended Lamar Consolidated High School graduating in 1953.

She was employed by Houston Lighting and Power as an accountant until May 1960.

Erline met Herbert Ubernosky through a bowling league in Rosenberg and was married to him on April 30, 1960, at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Rosenberg.

They had four loving daughters to this union.

She worked part-time until 1964, then started an at home childcare service until 1976.

Erline had a love for agriculture and bought a hay and cattle ranch in 1965 in Caldwell.

They built a house on the land and moved full-time to the Rockin U Ranch in 1983.

Erline loved German Shepherd dogs and had a green thumb, always having a vegetable garden.

She had a meticulous yard and grew roses and pansies.

Erline had a love of architecture and designed and constructed buildings.

She also was an excellent cook and baker. Her specialty was banana cake with cream cheese icing and homemade bread.

Erline was a “do it yourself” person through and through.
