It was a time to honor the past and look forward to a new era.
The Leighton Stovall family, the new owners of Scarmardo Gin Co., in the Brazos Bottom, were welcomed and recognized by the old owners, Scarmardo family members, at a Saturday, July 10, dinner at John Giesenschlag’s building along F.M. 50.
