The Caldwell Hornets boys golf team placed second and the girls team placed third on March 24 at the Navasota Tournament at Pecan Lakes Golf Club.
The tournament was a district tournament preview with all schools in District 22 4A attending other than Giddings.
The Hornets were scheduled to compete in the district tournament on March 31-April 1 at that location.
