The Caldwell Hornets defeated Smithville 58-19 at home on Jan. 28 and fell to district leader La Grange 54-38 last Friday in La Grange.
The Hornets finished the week 12-17 overall and 2-5 in district play.
Against Smithville, the Hornets dominated throughout the game with leads of 16-2 in the first 37-9 at halftime and 52-13 after three quarters.
