The Somerville High School track team competed in last week’s Bluebonnet Relays in Brenham.
Somerville’s results included:
Varsity Boys
* High jump: Jeremy Vela, 6-0, third.
Julius Malone of Houton Cyp. Lakes won this event with a height of 6-4.
* Long jump: Kyle Brooks, 20-5.5, sixth.
Caleb Franklin of Huntsville won this event with a distance of 22-6.
* Discus: Christopher Deere, 138-11, fifth.
