Yeguas tie Salado JV, fall to Hempstead, RTC
The Somerville Yeguas tied Salado JV White 5-5 in a Monday game in Salado.
The tie brought the Yeguas’ record to 0-2-1 after Friday losses to Hempstead 12-3 and Round Top-Carmine 7-3 at the Somerville Tournament.
Against Salado JV, Somerville scored 1 run each in the second, third and fourth innings for a 3-2 lead before trailing 4-3 in the fifth.
