Tonya Barnes was unanimously approved as the new chief appraiser by the Burleson County Appraisal District’s Board of Directors at their Tuesday, Nov. 17, meeting.
Barnes, who has worked for the appraisal district since 2014, had served as interim appraiser since June.
The board approved Barnes in open session after a 12-minute executive session.
